  2. Add 2 tbsp of grated ginger and mix
  3. Grate in some lemon zest
  4. Sprinkle with 2 pinches of grounded black pepper.

Why black pepper? Curcumin is doesn’t absorb into your blood very well. Black pepper contains pipeline. This is a natural substance that helps the absorption by 2000%! So don’t skip step 4… we’re watching you!

Turmeric Tea


  1. Add 1/4 tbsp into a cup of boiling water
  2. Leave infuse to for 3-4mins
  3. Strain, then stir in honey and lemon juice


Drink 2 times per day.  Let the curcumin in the mixture work its anti-bacterial and anti-viral magic. The honey in there will act as an anti-inflammatory and sooth your throat and chest.


Homemade Honey/Turmeric Spot Treatment


  1. Mix turmeric with splash of water until it turns to a pasta
  2. Add in a small amount of honey
  3. Apply to affected areas with cotton bud


Do this 1-2 times per day. Turmeric removes excess oil from the skin and stops bacteria growing. The honey will take away the redness since its an anti-inflammatory.
